Role Overview \nWe are seeking a results-driven Hotel General Manager to oversee daily operations across all departments. The role requires a dynamic leader who can ensure smooth hotel functioning, deliver excellent guest experiences, and maintain financial and service excellence within a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee Hotel Operations: Manage all aspects of hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, ensuring efficiency and seamless guest services.
\n\t
Financial Management: Develop budgets, monitor revenue streams, and implement strategies to enhance profitability and control costs.
\n\t
Guest Experience: Handle guest concerns promptly, monitor service quality, and introduce initiatives that elevate overall guest satisfaction and the hotel’s reputation.
\n\t
Team Leadership: Oversee recruitment, training, and mentoring of staff, as well as establish performance standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
\n\t
Strategic Planning: Implement operational and marketing strategies to strengthen the hotel’s market position and long-term success.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Education: A Higher Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management and/or a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field. Candidates with extensive relevant experience but without formal qualifications may also be considered.
\n\t
Experience: Several years of proven success in hotel management or a senior hospitality role.
\n\t
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
\n\t
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with staff, guests, and stakeholders.
\n\t
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to foster positive relationships and create a collaborative working environment.
\n\t
Technical Skills: Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management systems.

Organisation: Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
