Role Overview
The HR Executive will be responsible for overseeing HR operations and managing all areas of the employee journey, from recruitment and onboarding to compliance, engagement, and learning and development. Working closely with business leaders, the HR Executive will play a key role in implementing strategic initiatives and ensuring HR practices are aligned with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment: Develop and implement tailored recruitment strategies, manage the end-to-end hiring process, collaborate with external partners, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
\r\n
Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee onboarding, probation, contracts, work permits, and offboarding, while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory entities.
\r\n
HR Operations: Manage daily HR functions, maintain employee records, and continuously improve systems and processes for greater efficiency.
\r\n
Strategic Initiatives and Engagement: Support and drive talent management, performance management, employee engagement, and team-building initiatives. Coordinate learning and development programmes to enhance workforce capabilities.
\r\n
Compliance and HR Procedures: Ensure HR procedures comply with labour laws and EU directives, stay updated on legal changes, and provide guidance and training to employees and managers.
\r\n
Other Duties: Perform additional HR responsibilities as required by organisational priorities.
\r\n

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\r\n
\r\n
Education: A degree in Occupational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
\r\n
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR roles, with emphasis on recruitment, employee lifecycle management, and HR operations. Previous experience managing an HR team for at least 1 year will be considered an asset.
\r\n
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
\r\n
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all organisational levels.
\r\n
Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to support and guide employees and managers.
\r\n
Technical Skills: Proficiency in recruitment methods, HR systems, and knowledge of employment regulations.
\r\n
Organisation: Excellent planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
\r\n
Self-Motivated: A proactive and driven professional capable of working independently and within a team.
\r\n
Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with the ability to resolve issues effectively and innovatively.
