\nThe chosen candidate would report to the HR Manager. The ideal candidate would be self-driven and able to manage his/her own workload whilst eager to learn and develop in this field.

\nResponsibilities:
Acting as a point of contact for employee queries and HR-related matters, ensuring timely resolution in line with company policies;
\n\t\n\tOverseeing engagement and termination processes of employees and in the full recruitment cycle with hiring managers, including posting job adverts, screening candidates, conducting reference checks, issuing employment contracts, and processing work permit applications when required;
\n\t\n\tEnsuring timely and effective onboarding for new employees, including contract preparation, induction programmes, and probation reviews;
\n\t\n\tMaintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records, employee files, and documentation with integrity and confidentiality;
\n\t\n\tDeveloping and drafting HR policies, procedures, and best practices;
\n\t\n\tSubmitting employee information to the relevant authorities and departments;
\n\t\n\tLiaising with the payroll team to ensure that any updates reach them in time for the monthly payroll;
\n\t\n\tCoordinating the performance appraisal process, supporting managers in setting and reviewing KPIs and objectives;
\n\t\n\tConducting training needs analysis and coordinating internal and external training, including CPD programmes for regulated professionals;
\n\t\n\tSupporting the planning and delivery of employee engagement initiatives, wellness activities, and team-building events;
\n\t\n\tPreparing HR reports and workforce analytics for management and board meetings;
\n\t\n\tAssisting the HR Manager on any employee complaints and provide support to resolve conflicts;
\n\t\n\tPerforming other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:
\n\nA minimum A' Level standard of education;
\n\t\n\tA minimum of 2 to 3 years’ of experience in a similar role;
\n\t\n\tKnowledge of the Maltese Employment law and experience in liaising with Maltese entities;
\n\t\n\tExcellent communication skills, assertive with impeccable fluency in written and spoken English;
\n\t\n\tExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism;
\n\t\n\tExcellent organisational and time management skills;
\n\t\n\tAn eye-for-detail and able to work autonomously;
\n\t\n\tWork well under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
\n\t\n\tHighly computer literate with MS Office Suite.
