Role Overview
The Infrastructure Engineer - Operations will be responsible for the daily administration and management of critical customer systems and services hosted on Azure and the Microsoft Enterprise and Mobility Security suite. This role is crucial for provisioning our Client’s Managed Services and maintaining customers' managed systems, ensuring their availability and performing preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
\r\n
\r\n
Onboarding and Administration: Onboard, administer, and perform operational tasks on customers’ cloud and security environments.
\r\n
Client Support: Partner with clients to support and provide value through IT managed services.
\r\n
Security Guidance: Guide customers on all aspects of systems and network security throughout all tasks.
\r\n
Preventive Maintenance: Proactively provide preventive maintenance and service enhancements to customers’ managed environments, including systems, networking, security, and cloud.
\r\n
Customer Relationship Management: Develop strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
\r\n
System Monitoring: Administer remote monitoring and management systems, including responding to alerts, monitoring dashboards, and conducting periodic system reviews.
\r\n
Documentation: Work alongside team members to maintain and update appropriate customer documentation.
\r\n
Communication: Keep an open line of communication with customers, updating them on incident progress and notifying them of upcoming changes.
\r\n
Technological Innovation: Proactively seek ways to leverage technologies to enhance efficiency, reliability, and security in IT operations.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\r\n
\r\n
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
\r\n
Experience: Ideally, 1 to 2 years of IT-related experience, with a passion for technology.
\r\n
Certifications: Preferably hold IT industry certifications like Azure Administration or Microsoft Security Administration.
\r\n
Technical Skills: A strong understanding of how technology is used to provide IT services, with technical diagnostic skills and familiarity with Azure and M365 portals.
\r\n
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to express yourself clearly and concisely both in writing and speaking.
\r\n
Interpersonal Skills: Passionate about customer satisfaction and capable of maintaining strong client relations.
\r\n
Self-Motivated: An open-minded and self-motivated individual, capable of working on your initiative, but also enjoying team collaboration.
\r\n

Please note that applicants must meet the requirement of attaining a Personnel Security Clearance certificate, applicable in Malta. This certificate can only be processed for individuals from an EU Member State or those residing in the Maltese islands for the past five years.
