Role Overview: The Junior Accountant will join a dynamic team focusing on tax compliance. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients under supervision, ensuring timely VAT and tax submissions, and maintaining high-quality client service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
VAT Returns and other related VAT documents: Prepare and submit VAT returns and related documents accurately and on time.
TAX computations and preparations of tax returns: Assist in tax computations and the preparation of tax returns for client portfolios.
Reporting to management on a regular basis: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management regarding client portfolios.
Managing a diversified portfolio of companies: Handle and oversee the tax compliance needs of a diverse client portfolio.
Ensuring deadlines are met: Manage workload to meet strict deadlines for VAT and tax submissions.
Providing quality service to clients: Maintain high standards of service delivery and client communication.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
Undergoing their ACCAs / Degree in Accounts: Currently pursuing ACCA or a degree in Accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Having excellent written and spoken English: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills: Capable of effective interaction within a team environment.
Detail-oriented and efficient: Attentive to detail with strong organisational skills.
Able to work within a team: Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
