&lt;p&gt;As a Junior Structural Engineer, the selected candidiate will play a vital role in supporting the design and development of structural projects. The role involves collaboration with senior engineers, under supervision to ensure the successful execution of engineering tasks and contribute to innovative solutions in the field of structural engineering.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;- Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures.&lt;br&gt;- Competency in the design of reinforced concrete elements and entire structures, steel work elements, stone and concrete block masonry, timber elements, glass elements.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Ability to carry out shorthand structural analysis and deisgn by hand calculation&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Proficient in the use of structural analysis and design software&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Collaborate with project teams to develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Support the preparation of detailed structural drawings and specifications for projects.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions regarding design and construction methodologies.&lt;br&gt;- Participate in site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and gather data for design modifications.&lt;br&gt;- Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations.&lt;br&gt;- Stay updated with the latest engineering practices, materials, and technologies relevant to structural engineering.&lt;br&gt;- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Maintain clear and organized records of project progress and documentation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Good verbal and written communication skills in Maltese and English with the latest engineering practices, materials, and technologies relevant to structural engineering.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Skills and Qualifications:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from the University of Malta or equivalent degree&lt;br&gt;- Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, particularly in structural design.&lt;br&gt;- Proficient in engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar applications.&lt;br&gt;- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.&lt;br&gt;- Strong communication skills in both Maltese and English, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.&lt;br&gt;- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic work environment.&lt;br&gt;- Prior experience in structural engineering is a plus, but not mandatory.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Join our team and contribute to the development of innovative structural solutions in a supportive and collaborative environment.
