Lawyer - Financial Services

AIMS International is assisting one of our clients, a CSP with recruiting a Lawyer - Financial Services.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting and collaborating with a team of professionals, from a different backgrounds, on numerous transactions pertaining to setting up and supporting financial institutions covering such area as digital assets, raising of finance, fintech and innovation;
• Drafting, reviewing and updating legal instruments;
• Assisting in the formulation of policies and procedures with respect to regulatory requirements our clients have to satisfy;
• Assisting with compliance issues emanating from the ongoing supervision processes;
• Dealing with specify regulatory issues which may arise periodically;
• Providing regulatory advice to our clients in the financial services industry;
• Having conversations, discussions and interacting with a portfolio of clients;
• Formulation of solutions to client issues;
• Research into specific areas of law;
• Drafting and preparing written client deliverables;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for projects;
• Contributing to articles and content on financial services and related areas;

• Hold a University Degree in Law;
• Possess a warrant to practice law in Malta;
• Have experience in the financial services industry of 1 to 2 years;
• Be proficient and fluent in both written and verbal English, with additional languages being considered an asset;
• Be organized and able to perform demanding transactions;
• Be willing to work effectively and develop within the firm;
• Have a professional mindset and excellent communication skills;
