MCL designs and manufactures sustainable plastic products, ranging from food and non-food packaging to toys to products used in agriculture, construction, and health and fitness. We provide an end-to-end solution from concept creation through to the finished product.
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Assistant / Handyman to join our manufacturing team. If you enjoy practical work, and keeping facilities and equipment in good running condition, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and repair works around the factory.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and masonry repairs.
- Assist with preventive maintenance of machinery and factory equipment.
- Assist in keeping the factory, warehouse, and outdoor areas in good working order.
- Assemble, install, and move equipment, furniture, and shelving as required.
- Support contractors during maintenance and installation works when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman, or similar role.
- Good knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.
- Ability to prioritise work and respond quickly to maintenance issues.
- A valid driving licence is considered an asset.
