As Manager within the Data Management & Analytics section, the candidate will be responsible to support the Head in the overall running of the section, including the following domains:\r\n
\r\n
Assisting in the implementation and continuous development of data management and analytics strategies and solutions including the data warehouse, the Centralised Bank Account Register (CBAR), risk evaluation platform (CASPAR), and case management system.
\r\n
Coordinating or actively contributing on system changes impacting the collection or transformation of data.
\r\n
Collaborating with internal stakeholders and providing support as necessary through interactive analytics and other capabilities which facilitate decision making and inform risk understanding.
\r\n
Establishing and monitoring data quality and governance standards.
\r\n
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders to facilitate the sourcing of data and information.
\r\n
Supporting, mentoring, upskilling and providing direction to team members to achieve progression goals and to enhance Section’s overall effectiveness.
\r\n
To fulfil any other duties delegated by the Director, Deputy Director and Head of Section.

Requirements
\r\n
\r\n
\r\n
An MQF Level 6 qualification or better preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Risk Management, Financial Services, Auditing, Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence.
\r\n
Proven work experience of a minimum of six years within the regulated sector (preferably, financial services), an authority or a similar set-up, including two years in a senior role.
\r\n
Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
\r\n
Extensive work experience in any of the following disciplines: business analysis, product ownership, data engineering, or data analysis will be considered as an asset.
\r\n
Coding skills (preferably, C# or similar) and data querying skills (preferably, T-SQL) will be considered as an asset.
\r\n
Familiarity with basic DevOps practices (including Git and CI/CD); cloud computing platforms (preferably Azure); and modern data orchestration tools (such as Data Factory and Azure Synapse) will be considered as an asset.
