&lt;p&gt;The Marine Surveyor will be responsible for conducting a wide range of marine surveys, including a variety of condition surveys and audits, hull and machinery surveys, incident investigation, and cargo and bunkering surveys. This role requires in-depth knowledge of marine operations, industry regulations, and strong analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marine surveying, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to provide thorough reports and actionable recommendations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Attend on behalf of underwriters to investigate incidents on board member vessels;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Perform marine surveys including but not limited to hull and machinery surveys, condition surveys, damage surveys, inspections, audits, cargo and bunkering operations, both ashore and offshore, locally and possibly overseas.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Assist with other P&amp;amp;I and H&amp;amp;M matters which requires liaising with different parties;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Assess and ensure compliance with international and local maritime regulations and standards.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Prepare detailed survey reports and provide recommendations based on findings.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Liaise with clients, vessel crew, and relevant authorities to ensure the smooth execution of surveys.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Provide technical support and guidance on marine operations and safety.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Qualifications:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Bachelor&#039;s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field &lt;strong&gt;or &lt;/strong&gt;Master Mariner, Chief Officer or Chief Engineer STCW qualifications&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Minimum of 2 years of experience in marine surveying;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Thorough understanding of IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, and other relevant maritime regulations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Willingness to travel, work at sea (onshore and offshore) as required.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Experience:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Previous experience in shipyards and ship management, Flag &amp;amp; Port State Surveying, Marine Warranty Surveying or in an IACS Classification Society will be given preference.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- ISM/ISPS/MLC Audits.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
