Role Overview \nOur Client is seeking an energetic and motivated Merchandiser to support marketing and sales initiatives across Malta. This role is instrumental in expanding market presence, activating new retail outlets, and ensuring optimal product placement and execution of marketing strategies. The selected candidate will report to the Channel Activation Coordinators and work closely with the broader activation and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

Outlet Activation and Expansion: Drive market development by activating new outlets and maintaining high standards of execution in existing locations.
\n\t
Product Placement and Merchandising: Ensure accurate product placement, optimal stock rotation, and visually impactful product displays to maximise visibility and sales.
\n\t
Promotional Support: Participate in and support all promotional initiatives organised by the Sales and Marketing Department to enhance product reach.
\n\t
Asset and Material Management: Place company-owned assets and marketing materials strategically in line with business needs and return on investment guidelines.
\n\t
Market Intelligence and Reporting: Gather and report market and competitor insights, including promotional activity and customer feedback, to inform strategy.
\n\t
Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers while supporting sales initiatives and ensuring customer satisfaction.
\n\t
Channel Strategy Execution: Implement activation strategies across channels and support the coordination of PICOS and Must Stock Lists.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Driving License: Driving License category B required. Must be in possession of own vehicle.
\n\t
Experience: Previous experience in merchandising or sales within the food and beverage industry is preferred.
\n\t
Language Skills: Excellent command of both Maltese and English is required to succeed in this role.
\n\t
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
\n\t
Interpersonal Skills: Outgoing, approachable, and capable of building long-lasting client relationships.
\n\t
Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy for data collection and reporting.
\n\t
Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to manage a structured visitation schedule and asset deployment.
