We are looking for a passionate and skilled Mobile Core Networks Engineer to join our dynamic team at epic Malta. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of our mobile core infrastructure, playing a key part in delivering reliable and cutting-edge telecommunications services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain core network infrastructure.
  • Configure and test core nodes and interfaces with interconnected network and IT systems.
  • Participate in projects led by the Mobile Core Team, including the launch of new services.
  • Troubleshoot network issues by gathering symptoms and implementing corrective actions.
  • Perform installations and upgrades, and support turnkey suppliers to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations and support.
  • Provide support outside regular office hours when required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent technical certifications or significant industry experience will also be considered.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Availability to work flexible hours and support on-call duties when required.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
