Role Overview 

Our Client is seeking a skilled Networks Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining, upgrading, and securing our Client's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. 

Key Responsibilities  

• Design, configure, and deploy: Network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. 
• Perform network troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and other network-related problems. 
• Implement network security measures: Protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other cyber threats. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements and objectives. 
• Monitor network performance and utilization: Make recommendations for improvements and optimizations. 
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures: Ensure accurate and up-to-date network documentation. 
• Provide technical guidance and support: Assist junior members of the IT team. 

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes  

• Minimum of 2 years of experience: Working as a Networks Engineer or in a similar role. 
• Bachelor's degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field would be a plus. 
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies: Including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, etc. 
• Hands-on experience: With Cisco, Aruba, and Fortinet networking equipment and platforms. 
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools: Such as SolarWinds, Nagios, and Wireshark. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills: Strong attention to detail. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. 
• Relevant certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, Fortinet NSE are a plus.
