Role Overview \nWe are seeking a versatile and proactive Operations & Technical Account Manager to oversee daily business activities, drive sales growth, and provide technical support within the telecommunications platform. This role combines client relationship management, sales, technical system configuration, and operational oversight to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management & Client Services: Manage day-to-day operations to guarantee smooth service delivery and client satisfaction. Serve as the primary contact for client enquiries, requests, and issue resolution. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate service execution and maintain accurate client documentation.
\n\t
Sales & Client Engagement: Identify new sales prospects and actively promote products and services to current and potential clients. Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, close deals, onboard new clients, and nurture ongoing client relationships.
\n\t
Technical Configuration & Systems Management: Execute technical configurations on telecommunications platforms in line with client requirements. Administer various systems including CRM, billing, sales tools, and administrative portals to facilitate effective service delivery.
\n\t
IT, Security & Compliance: Support the completion of due diligence questionnaires and respond to IT, security, and data protection audits. Work closely with IT and compliance teams to maintain regulatory standards and uphold data privacy best practices.
\n\t
Business Support & Administration: Utilise Microsoft Office applications to draft correspondence, manage records, update databases, and produce reports. Maintain and enhance internal systems, including websites and content management platforms. Assist with invoicing and budget monitoring to support operational efficiency.
\n\t
Availability: Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis or as required for business-critical issues.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Education: Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in telecommunications, IT, business administration, or related fields.
\n\t
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a telecommunications or technology-related environment with exposure to operations, client management, and technical system configuration.
\n\t
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is essential; proficiency in Maltese is an advantage.
\n\t
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively liaise with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
\n\t
Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and internal teams.
\n\t
Technical Skills: Competent in CRM systems, billing and sales platforms, technical configuration of telecom services, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).

Organisation: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, documentation, and deadlines efficiently.

Self-Motivated: Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently while managing diverse responsibilities.
