The role

A vacancy has arisen in our Maintenance Department for the post of Painter & Decorator on a full-time basis. The selected candidate would need to have previous experience and would be prepared to support the maintenance team in the general tasks and duties.

Main Responsibilities include:

· Preparing surfaces for painting such as sanding, filling and priming.

· Painting student rooms, corridors and communal spaces.

· Applying wallpaper, varnish and other decorative finishes.

· Ensuring a high-quality finish and attention to detail.

· Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.

· Keeping work areas clean.

· Assisting the maintenance team when necessary.

· Following all health and safety regulations.

· Adhering to company policies and legal regulations.

· Other miscellaneous duties

Skills and Requirements:

· Having two (2) years’ experience in a similar role would be considered an asset;

· Eye for detail;

· Good verbal skills, particularly in English;

· Good communication skills;
