Eden Leisure Group, Malta’s leading entertainment and leisure company, is seeking to recruit a part-time Security to work at Eden Cinemas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Access Control: Monitor entrances and exits to ensure that only authorized personnel and patrons enter the cinema. Verify cinema tickets and identification when necessary.
- Crowd Management: Maintain order and manage crowds, especially during peak hours, special events, or movie premieres.
- Patrol and Surveillance: Regularly patrol the cinema premises, including auditoriums and hallways, to ensure a safe environment.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or disruptive behaviour. Contact the appropriate authorities when needed.
- Customer Assistance: Provide assistance to cinema patrons by answering questions and providing directions.
- Enforce Cinema Policies: Ensure that cinema policies, such as age restrictions, no-smoking rules, and no outside food or drink policies, are enforced.
- Fire Safety: Monitor and enforce fire safety regulations, including evacuation procedures in case of fire or other emergencies.
- Lost and Found: Assist patrons in locating lost items and ensure that found items are properly documented and stored.
The preferred candidate must be:
- Fluent in English
- Willing to work in the evenings until late as well as weekends.
- Security License
- Security Tag
- Police conduct certificate
