Role Overview \nWe are collaborating with our Client to recruit a Payroll Associate to join their expanding Payroll department. This role involves managing payroll processes for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality in all payroll operations. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining smooth payroll administration and supporting the team in meeting internal targets. \n \nKey Responsibilities

Payroll Processing: Prepare and oversee periodic payrolls for multiple clients, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
\n\t
Payroll Reporting: Generate and process various payroll reports as requested by clients.
\n\t
Data Management: Collect, calculate, and input payroll information into the relevant systems meticulously.
\n\t
Compliance Documentation: Issue payroll-related statutory forms such as FS3, FS5, and FS7 in accordance with legal requirements.
\n\t
Employee Records: Handle documentation for new hires and terminations promptly and accurately.
\n\t
Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality to protect sensitive payroll information and client trust.
\n\t
Month-End Procedures: Assist with month-end consolidation, reconciliation, and payroll tax payments as required.
\n\t
Billing Support: Aid in the invoicing and billing processes related to payroll services.
\n\t
Team Collaboration: Contribute actively towards achieving team goals and completing assigned tasks.
\n\t
Additional Duties: Perform other payroll-related functions as directed by management.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Education: Minimum 'A’ level standard of education.
\n\t
Experience: At least two years’ practical experience in payroll management. Experience with Shireburn Indigo payroll software will be considered an advantage.
\n\t
Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Maltese is essential. Knowledge of Italian or other languages is beneficial.
\n\t
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities are required to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
\n\t
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent team player with the capacity to engage professionally and respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
\n\t
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and payroll systems.
\n\t
Organisation: Exceptional attention to detail and organisational capabilities to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Self-Motivation: Able to work independently and proactively within a structured environment.
