Role Overview
Heroix are seeking a full-time Payroll Executive to join our Client's Human Resources and Payroll Department. In this role, you will support day-to-day payroll operations, reporting to the Senior Payroll Executive. You will handle key tasks such as salary calculations, payroll issue resolutions, and onboarding/offboarding processes, while maintaining payroll reports and assisting with employee queries.

Key Responsibilities

Salary Processing: Manage salary calculations for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Payroll Reporting: Compile and monitor monthly payroll reports, maintaining up-to-date data for review.
Employee Support: Provide information and assistance to employees regarding payslip queries and payroll concerns.
Statutory Filings: Prepare FS5 and submit FS7 online to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes, collaborating with HR for smooth transitions.
Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as deemed necessary by the department to support payroll operations.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n
Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a payroll department.
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Word is essential. Knowledge of Indigo payroll software will be preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for responding to employee queries.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact professionally with colleagues and employees across various departments.
Organisation: Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
Self-Motivated: A proactive and diligent individual, capable of working independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Problem-Solving: Analytical skills with an eye for detail, able to resolve payroll discrepancies and troubleshoot issues.
