We are seeking a Pharmacovigilance Manager to oversee and drive our pharmacovigilance operations, ensuring compliance with global safety regulations and delivering high-quality services.
About the Role
As a Pharmacovigilance Manager, you will take on a leadership role, managing the pharmacovigilance team to ensure the effective monitoring of biomedical literature, adverse event reporting, and data indexing. Your expertise will guide the team in maintaining compliance with global standards while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the Pharmacovigilance team, fostering collaboration and professional development.
- Oversee the monitoring of biomedical literature for adverse events and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Supervise indexing and abstracting of relevant scientific and medical data.
- Ensure team compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize pharmacovigilance processes and systems.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance management to team members.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align pharmacovigilance activities with organizational objectives.
- Monitor changes in global pharmacovigilance regulations and lead the adaptation of team processes and policies accordingly.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Health, or Biomedical Sciences.
- Experience: At least 13 years of proven experience in Pharmacovigilance (PV), including team management or leadership roles.
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical, scientific, and medical information effectively.
- Leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Team-oriented mindset with exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Candidate must possess a valid work permit.
