Role Overview The Principal Land Surveyor will be responsible for providing comprehensive land surveying services throughout all phases of urban public realm projects. This includes coordinating with various team members, ensuring accurate surveys are conducted, and maintaining high standards of professionalism in all surveying activities. Key Responsibilities

Land Surveying: Carry out land surveying services at every stage of the project, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Site Evaluation: Assess sites prior to surveying, coordinating necessary preparations and obtaining required permits.
Team Coordination: Work with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure thorough understanding of survey requirements and follow-ups until the completion of the survey.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure surveying equipment is maintained to the highest standards, including calibration and proper care to produce valid survey data.
Survey Data: Issue precise surveys, ensuring alignment with universal levels and orientations, and translate these into AutoCAD drawings.
Professional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with external stakeholders, such as clients and operators, for smooth project execution.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in land surveying, preferably within urban development projects.
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is essential; proficiency in Maltese is advantageous.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and land surveying techniques is a must.
