&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Role Overview&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading cost-reduction initiatives, improving process yields, and optimising machine uptime. You will collaborate closely with the Production Department to coordinate maintenance activities and support the introduction of new processes and machines.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Cost Reduction Initiatives&lt;/em&gt;: Lead projects focused on reducing manufacturing costs and enhancing operational efficiency.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Process Improvement&lt;/em&gt;: Implement strategies to improve process yields and machine uptime, contributing to overall productivity.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Maintenance Coordination&lt;/em&gt;: Communicate directly with the Production Department to coordinate maintenance activities, including breakdown and repair, scheduled, and preventive maintenance.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;New Process Introduction&lt;/em&gt;: Support the introduction of new processes and machines in the manufacturing area, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Tool Design Optimization&lt;/em&gt;: Optimise tool design to improve productivity and yields, enhancing overall manufacturing efficiency.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Employee Performance Reviews&lt;/em&gt;: Conduct performance reviews based on job descriptions to assess competency and knowledge levels within the team.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Qualifications, Skills and Attributes&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Educational Background&lt;/em&gt;: Bachelors degree in engineering would be considered an asset.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Work Experience&lt;/em&gt;: Proven work experience as a process engineer, preferably in a manufacturing environment.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Technical Skills&lt;/em&gt;: Advanced technical skills with the ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex issues.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Analytical Thinking&lt;/em&gt;: Strong analytical thinking skills to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Health and Safety Compliance&lt;/em&gt;: Familiarity with state health and safety regulations, ensuring adherence to relevant standards.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;Project Management&lt;/em&gt;: Ability to project manage and coordinate maintenance activities effectively.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;
