Production Costings and Planning Coordinator (Gozo-based Job)

We are seeking a Production Costings and Planning Coordinator to join our dairy manufacturing team. This role will be responsible for analysing production costs, managing overhead information, supporting production planning, and providing accurate data to help drive operational efficiency and profitability.

Working closely with Production, Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain teams, the candidate will play a key role in understanding manufacturing performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring resources are planned effectively to meet customer demand.

Job Description:

• To monitor and analyse manufacturing costs by preparing and maintaining accurate standard and product costing.
• To conduct detailed variance analysis between actual, budgeted, and forecasted results, providing meaningful insights and recommendations.
• To analyse sales performance, trends, volumes, revenue, and profitability by product, SKU, customer, and distributor, identifying key performance drivers and opportunities for improvement.
• To assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts covering costs, intake and sales.
• To work closely with the Sales, Logistics, and Production teams to ensure alignment between forecasts and actual performance.
• To prepare regular management reports while keeping good communication with both the Operations Manager and Management.

The selected candidate should have:

• An experience in production costing, manufacturing, planning or a similar analytical role.
• An understanding of food manufacturing processes and cost drivers.
• An excellent numerical and analytical abilities, accurate and attention to detail.
• A good knowledge of Ms Office Applications.

Experience within a food production environment would be considered as an asset.
