Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator. The candidate’s expertise will ensure that our customers receive top-notch customer care service. The key roles and responsibilities of the position will include, but are not limited to:
Role, duties and responsibilities:
- Manage and process all warranty claims, maintain detailed records, follow up on claims, and ensure timely submission and resolution with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer warranty issues, communicate claim status and resolutions to customers and educate customers on warranty terms and conditions.
- Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers and suppliers and coordinate to resolve claims efficiently and ensure policy compliance.
- Provide technical assistance for warranty issues, assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting problems and coordinate with service technicians for repairs and replacements.
- Keep organized records of all warranty activities, prepare reports on warranty claims and resolutions and analyse data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Identify and implement improvements in warranty processes and develop standard operating procedures for warranty management.
- Work with sales, after-sales, and service teams for seamless customer experiences.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Coordinate with inventory teams to manage warranty parts and materials, and track the return of defective parts.
- Conduct quality checks on warranty work and address issues.
- Manage warranty-related projects, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Provide support and assistance to the Project Specialist as required. This includes collaborating on warranty-related projects, assisting with technical issues, and contributing to the overall success of project initiatives.
- Any other duty that will be directed by the Operations Manager from time to time.
Candidate profile, requirements, skills:
- 2+ years work experience in warranty administration, customer care, or related role.
- Experience working in the maritime industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and procedures to customers and colleagues.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English is essential.
- Must be deadline orientated, self-motivated and proactive, and commitment to delivering service excellence.
