A new opportunity has become available for the position of Project Manager (Finishings) with ICI Limited.
The Finishings Project Manager reports directly to the Director and will be responsible for managing and engaging a wide range of leaders and teams to deliver operating efficiency and customer value.
- Preparing and updating the daily program of works; Maintaining regular contact with clients, updating clients with the progress of works, attending project progress meetings;
- Conducting comprehensive site visits to check/audit works in progress, the standard of work, and ensure availability of required;
- Ensuring accurate and immediate reporting/management information as required and that accurate records are maintained at all times;
- Identify and investigate safety hazards and unusual activities, report to the Director, and recommend remedial actions to maintain a safe working environment;
- Monitoring and managing employees/subcontractors' productivity to ensure project cost control and cost reductions where possible.
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Knowledge of local construction legislation is a must.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- In possession of a clean and valid driving license
- Strong proficiency in English. Knowledge of Maltese is an added advantage
Education & Experience
- Previous experience working in the construction industry;
- Having a Bachelor's Degree in a related field would be considered an asset.
