Role Overview The Project Support Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting the Project Management Office's (PMO) operations. This includes administering tools, coordinating resources, and assisting in the efficient delivery of projects aligned with the organisation's objectives. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager PMO, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cultivating a project management culture within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Workshop Coordination: Assist in coordinating, administering, and running workshops and committees effectively.
Software Administration: Manage project management tools and governance software, including configuration and customisation.
File and Data Management: Organise and administer electronic project folders, files, shared areas, and collaboration spaces.
Project Support: Provide essential support to project managers and stakeholders by maintaining central project registers, logs, and files.
Data Quality and Reporting: Input, update, and monitor project data to ensure accuracy, and produce scheduled and ad-hoc reports for internal and external use.
Training and Coaching: Support and deliver training programmes for users on project management tools, software, and processes.
Process Assistance: Assist the Chief Officer PMO and Project Managers in ensuring the efficient execution of governance tasks and activities.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience. Candidates with at least five (5) years of relevant experience will also be considered if they lack formal qualifications.
Education: Diploma (MQF Level 5) or higher in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Language Skills: Excellent command of English. Knowledge of Maltese is an asset.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing project management tools, software, and databases.
Organisation: Strong organisational skills for managing files, tools, and data.
Self-Motivation: Proactive attitude with a desire to learn new skills and technologies.
Problem-Solving: Analytical skills for addressing project challenges and finding efficient solutions.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Compensation: A competitive salary increasing annually.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, averaging 8 hours per day. One remote/hybrid workday per week after three months of employment (subject to management approval).
Other Benefits: The position is on an indefinite contract with a six-month probation period. Collective agreement improvements are expected in early next year, potentially enhancing the quoted salary.
