&lt;p&gt;Rimus Trading Agency Limited, importer and distributor of foodstuffs, is seeking to recruit a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join the Purchasing and Shipping department.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;Role&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the candidate will be joining an existing team and will be responsible for the following duties:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;● Monitoring of stocks and sales trends;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;● Placing orders with suppliers, after verifying required volumes and specifications, detailing price, quality, quantity, delivery date and any special arrangements which may be necessary;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;● Ensuring that an adequate supply of material is present at all times and avoid excessive stock holding;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;● Organizing the delivery of orders by evaluating different transport or shipping alternatives in terms of cost, time and reliability;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;● Following up orders and communicating with all departments concerned the expected delivery dates;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;● Be responsible for  product costings and price changes, as well as any internal and external communication regarding products;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;● Keeping abreast with customs procedures which may influence the cost and timely delivery of purchased merchandise;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;● Coordinating customs clearing and forwarding of merchandise.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;Education &amp;amp; Experience:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;● Fluent in spoken and written &lt;strong&gt;English&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;● Applicants would ideally have experience in a similar role&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;Skills&lt;/strong&gt;:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;● Able to adhere to strict deadlines&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;● Organized and possess an eye for detail&lt;/p&gt;
