A vacancy has arisen in the Quality Control Laboratory for the position of Quality Control Manager.

The ideal candidate should have a:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratory, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of EU GMP, ICH guidelines, and pharmacopoeial requirements.
  • Experience with analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, and other laboratory instrumentation.
  • Experience in OOS investigations, method validation, stability studies, and laboratory compliance
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in laboratory software and Microsoft Office applications.

Main Tasks

  • Reports to the QA Manager. Amongst other laboratory duties, the incumbent will be responsible to:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Quality Control laboratory.
  • Ensure testing of raw materials, intermediates, packaging materials, and finished products is performed in accordance with approved specifications and GMP requirements.
  • Review and approve laboratory data, analytical reports, specifications, protocols, and procedures.
  • Oversee investigations relating to OOS, OOT, laboratory deviations, and CAPAs.
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is qualified, calibrated, and maintained.
  • Manage stability studies and environmental monitoring programmes where applicable.
  • Coordinate method validation, verification, and analytical method transfers.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Production, R&D, and Supply Chain departments. We are offering a full time position, with an attractive remuneration package for this position along with training and opportunities for professional growth.
