As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Manager to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and efficacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Quality Control department in accordance with EU GMP guidelines.
  • Oversee the testing of materials, in-process samples, and finished products for compliance with established standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all EU regulations for medical cannabis production and distribution.
  • Develop and implement QC procedures, protocols, and testing methods.
  • Coordinate with the production and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations and high-quality output.
  • Investigate any product quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and train laboratory personnel, ensuring adherence to safety standards and continuous improvement in QC processes.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes related to medical cannabis and GMP compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Control within the pharmaceutical or medical cannabis industry, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment with experience in microbiology
  • In-depth knowledge of EU GMP standards and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in laboratory testing methods and quality control systems.
  • Located in Malta (Europe)
