As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Manager to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and efficacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Quality Control department in accordance with EU GMP guidelines.
- Oversee the testing of materials, in-process samples, and finished products for compliance with established standards.
- Ensure compliance with all EU regulations for medical cannabis production and distribution.
- Develop and implement QC procedures, protocols, and testing methods.
- Coordinate with the production and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations and high-quality output.
- Investigate any product quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and train laboratory personnel, ensuring adherence to safety standards and continuous improvement in QC processes.
- Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes related to medical cannabis and GMP compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Control within the pharmaceutical or medical cannabis industry, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment with experience in microbiology
- In-depth knowledge of EU GMP standards and regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in laboratory testing methods and quality control systems.
- Located in Malta (Europe)
