About This Job
The Research and Development Support Chemist will be responsible to support research and development activities in the area of electro-chemical sensors through performing various product investigations, including on product prototypes and also of production process features. The chemist will be reporting to the Technical Head for Probes, with the primary focus being on pH and ORP type probes. The Chemist will work very closely with the lead R&D team at the parent company and will also facilitate coordination between R&D and the production department.
Pre-requisites
The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in chemistry, and has a minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial lab environment, ideally in the field of R&D. The individual will be a hands-on person with a particular attention to detail, should be systematic and organized in his/her work and would be willing to travel abroad as part of the execution of the responsibilities. Knowledge of electro-chemistry and particularly of pH and oxidation/reduction potential measurement would be considered an asset.
