Research and Development Officer (FDF)

Medichem Manufacturing (Malta) Ltd and Combino Pharm (Malta) Ltd form part of the Medichem group, a Spanish pharmaceutical organization which develops and manufactures both active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage forms.

Medichem specialises in active pharmaceutical ingredients, while Combino Pharm is focused on solid oral generic pharmaceutical products. The organization provides high quality medicinal substances and products for the worldwide market, with special emphasis on Europe and the US.

We are currently looking for a new team member to join Combino Pharm in Malta, for the following Research and Development Officer (FDF) role:

Responsibilities and Functions:

· Writing instructions related to production processes.

· Writing and implementing trial batch, scale-up, pilot and process validation protocols and plans.

· Writing processing and manufacturing instructions for new products.

· Assisting in the management and update of quality systems related to the R&D department, such as, SOPs, CAPAs, Deviations and Change Controls.

· Evaluating data and write trial batch, scale-up, pilot and process validation reports.

· Performing and keeping records of all the sampling necessary for the transfer, scale-up and pilot studies of new products.

· Performing all physical tests necessary for the transfer, scale-up and pilot studies of new products.

· Helping to maintain records of the development of new products throughout the development process.

· Packaging and preparation of samples and documents for stability studies for R&D products.

Requirements:

· Higher qualification in Chemistry or equivalent.

· Minimum of two years experience in a pharmaceutical environment.

· Self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail.

· Results oriented and will display an attitude that reflects our Company values.

· Extremely organised.
