autoUnion Car Rental is a leading car rental company and we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Reservations and Customer Care Representative.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer care inquiries, provide information about rental options, pricing, and terms & conditions via email, phone, and/or in-person. This includes also any post-rental queries.
• Escalate complex matters to the appropriate department while monitoring and keeping the customer informed throughout the process.
• Handle day-to-day tasks such as emails, fleet allocation, and last-minute bookings.
• Process reservations to ensure a seamless experience for our customers. This includes supporting customers with modifying reservations and cancellations, and any other queries.
• Proactively resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and addressing customer concerns.
• Collaborate with our other departments to coordinate with fleet availability and logistics with relevant teams.
• Maintain an accurate record of customer interactions and transactions.

Skill requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service is ideal, within the car rental or hospitality industry would be a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, an ability to build a rapport and establish a lasting customer relationship.
• Proficient in computer systems and software applications for data entry and processing of documents.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations in a professional manner.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
