\n\nRole Overview
\n\nIn this position, you will be an integral member of the Risk Management team, working closely with the Risk Manager to oversee and manage credit, liquidity, and market risks. Your role will involve analytical reporting, policy implementation, and governance to support the company's risk management framework and objectives.

\nKey Responsibilities
Risk Assessment: Conduct credit assessments for new and existing facilities, including detailed financial analysis and risk evaluations. Review financial reports and business plans to support the development of new business opportunities.
\n\tRisk Monitoring: Ensure that new credit facility requests align with the company's risk appetite and management framework. Track changes in credit ratings and manage the investment portfolio in accordance with established risk limits.
\n\tRegulatory Compliance: Assist with regulatory risk management requirements and the preparation of periodic risk management reports. Keep updated with banking regulations and assist in the development and updating of risk management policies and procedures.
\n\tMarket Analysis: Compile and analyse market and industry-specific information to support strategic decision-making and risk assessment. Provide support for ad hoc requests from Senior Management and external stakeholders.
\n\tICT and Security Risk Management: Support the risk team in monitoring ICT and security risk management controls to ensure effective risk governance.
\n\tEducational Background: A professional qualification in Banking, Finance, or a related field.
\n\tExperience: 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with prior banking experience being advantageous.
\n\tTechnical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills with advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
\n\tLanguage Proficiency: Fluent in both written and spoken English and Maltese.
\n\tProfessional Traits: A proactive attitude, high integrity, and professional ethics with the ability to work independently.
\n\tAdditional Knowledge: Knowledge of ICT and security risk management controls is a plus.
