Oxford House, synonymous with the import and retail of home appliances, kitchens, home furniture, bedding and office solutions, is seeking to recruit the services of a Sales and Design Consultant for its kitchens and home furniture department. The Sales and Design Consultant is responsible for the conceptualisation, design and retail journey. This role involves creating and presenting tailored kitchen and bedroom solutions that not only meet but exceed client expectations and requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcome and engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
\r\n
Understand customer requirements and exigencies through active listening and by posing relevant questions.
\r\n
Provide guidance and recommendations based on customers’ preferences and budget requirements.
\r\n
Design the kitchen, bedroom or workspace project from conception to completion, while collaborating closely with other design team members.
\r\n
Prepare accurate, detailed and attractive renders, furniture plans, and attractive quotations.
\r\n
Negotiate and close sales transactions, efficiently and accurately, aiming to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
\r\n
Be actively involved in the furniture ordering process, following up on changes required, ensuring customer satisfaction is prioritised upon.
\r\n
Address concerns professionally, ensuring the response time is within standards established.
\r\n
Seek post quotation diligent feedback that allows for improved closure rates.
\r\n
Remain abreast with the ever-evolving industry trends, while garnering a high level of product knowledge.

Requirements:

Fluency in English is essential.
\r\n
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

MQF Level 5 qualification in Interior Design, Spatial Design or a related field, will add value to the application.
