Role Overview \nThe Sales Representative - Gozo will be responsible for advancing sales and promoting the sale of the Company’s products. This involves implementing marketing and sales strategies while working according to the Company's objectives for sales growth. The role requires a focus on customer relations, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, and contributing to the Company's long-term success in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Planning: Ensure that all sales plans are prepared and adhered to.
\n\t
Customer Relations: Secure customer orders through personal sales visits, address telephone queries, and maintain strong relationships.
\n\t
Prospecting: Actively prospect for and secure new customers to expand the business's customer base.
\n\t
Product Placement & Equipment Use: Advise on the placement of Company products, merchandising, and refrigeration equipment in outlets, ensuring proper and effective use.
\n\t
Debt Management: Monitor the status of debtor accounts and remind customers in arrears to settle their outstanding balances.
\n\t
Payment Handling: Obtain and deliver cheque payments to and from customers as required.
\n\t
Customer Satisfaction: Address and resolve product or service-related issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
\n\t
Retail & Merchandising Advice: Provide retail and merchandising advice to customers, including selling techniques, promotions, and product handling.
\n\t
Compliance: Ensure all sales transactions comply with Company standards and policies, including product returns and age verification.
\n\t
Reporting: Report competitor activities, new product launches, promotional strategies, and other relevant market information.
\n\t
Sales Monitoring: Monitor all returned and undelivered sales and take necessary corrective action.
\n\t
Team Participation: Attend individual, team, department, and company meetings as advised by the Territory Sales Manager.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Education: Previous experience in sales is essential.
\n\t
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in sales. Experience in FMCG is an advantage.
\n\t
Language Skills: Excellent command of Maltese and English are required.
\n\t
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
\n\t
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
\n\t
Technical Skills: Knowledge of product placement, merchandising, and retail sales techniques.
\n\t
Organisation: Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
\n\t
Self-Motivated: Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work independently.
\n\t
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address customer and sales issues effectively.
