Role Overview

The Sales Team Leader will oversee the operations of the used vehicle sales team, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service, meeting sales targets, and managing trade-ins with transparency and integrity. Team Leadership & Performance Management:

Oversee the sales team's performance, ensuring individual and group targets are achieved.

Mentor and coach team members, promoting behaviours aligned with the company brand values.

Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and the professional development of team members.

Sales Process & Customer Interactions:

Ensure high-quality customer experiences during test drives, quoting, and post-sales follow-ups.
\n\t
Drive revenue and profitability targets, including finance penetration metrics.
\n\t
Leverage CRM systems to manage and monitor customer interactions effectively.

Trade-In Management:

\n\t
Handle trade-ins with maximum honesty and compliance with company policies.
\n\t
Collaborate with the Senior Procurement Executive to ensure accurate trade-in valuations.
\n\t
Maintain thorough documentation and processing of trade-ins weekly.
\n
\n\n
Operational Excellence:

Ensure adherence to all sales and administrative processes, including consumer finance protocols.
\n\t
Coordinate marketing efforts for vehicle photography and promotional campaigns.
\n\t
Maintain accurate pricing and data across sales tools, databases, and websites.

Collaboration & Coordination:

\n\t
Work closely with Sales Admin, fleet, and procurement teams to ensure seamless operations.
\n\t
Balance customer satisfaction with business profitability when resolving issues.

Customer Experience & Compliance:

Uphold GDPR regulations and health and safety standards.
\n\t
Address customer complaints professionally to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.

Administration & Reporting:

Manage daily, weekly, and commission reports with accuracy.

Ensure timely completion of procedural tasks, including opening and closing processes.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

Experience: Prior experience in automotive sales, particularly in used vehicle sales, with leadership responsibilities.

Language Skills: Excellent command of English and Maltese are essential.
