Role Overview

The Semi-Senior Auditor will play a crucial role in conducting audit and assurance engagements, preparing financial statements, and building strong relationships with clients. Reporting to both the Senior Auditor and Audit Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities

Client Relationships: Build and maintain effective working relationships with client personnel.
\n\t
Audit and Assurance: Conduct audit and assurance engagements efficiently and accurately.
\n\t
Financial Statements: Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAPSME and IFRS.
\n\t
Deadlines: Ensure adherence to both client and firm deadlines.
\n\t
Issue Identification: Identify and report sensitive issues promptly.
\n\t
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
\n

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Qualifications: Currently pursuing an ACCA, ACA, or equivalent qualification, and/or possess a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting.
\n\t
Experience: Previous experience in an accounting or audit position is an asset.
\n\t
Technical Knowledge: Possess a good working knowledge of GAPSME, IFRS, and IAS's.
\n\t
Problem-Solving: Demonstrate the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
\n\t
Communication: Exhibit strong organizational and communication skills.
\n\t
Language: Be fluent in both written and spoken English.
\n\t
Personal Attributes: Be self-driven, highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
