We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Calibration Engineer / Lab Manager to be based at our site in Malta.
WHAT WILL I BE RESPOBSIBLE FOR?
Joining our team growing team as a Senior Engineer/Lab Manager you will be responsible for calibrating measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to ISO17025 standards. These include but are not limited to Temperature, RH , Pressure, Electrical instrumentation. You will be expected to manage the maintenance of Calibration Certification records and traceability as well as oversee that the mandatory and legislative aspects of work are implemented and will be expected to lead the Calibration of specialist products, assist in the development and improvement of Calibration procedures and participate in external/internal audits as required.
Our ideal Senior Calibration Engineer / Lab Manager
- Technical qualification such as degree in Engineering , preferably in Electrical Engineering or BTEC Diploma
- Have experience in ISO17025 laboratoryor has worked within a similar environment
- Strong IT skills, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- In-depth understanding and implementation of 17025 Quality Systems.
- Previous Management experience.
- Strong communications skills both to internal teams and external customers.
