About This Job
The company is seeking to recruit a trustworthy and highly motivated Lead Dispatcher to coordinate the dispatch and delivery section in our company. The selected candidate shall be responsible of a team of employees to instil teamwork and provide support to the department.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinating orders with the factory sections;
- Coordinating orders for delivery and dispatch in correct timing;
- Coordinating work among different delivery points;
- Ensuring production material is at dispatch area for inspection prior to delivery;
- Registering and checking of returns of food items;
- Ensuring accuracy of records in terms of quantity and timing;
- In charge of time and attendance for both the delivery persons and dispatchers;
- In charge of the maintenance of the company vans.
Requirements:
- A’ Level standard of education;
- Excellent writing skills in both Maltese and English;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications;
- Able to work in a fast paced environment;
- An eye for detail.
The ideal candidate must be willing to work nights.
