&lt;h3&gt;Role Overview&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a pivotal role in integrating electrical components into infrastructure projects, ensuring energy efficiency and sustainability. This position involves collaboration with landscape architects, overseeing electrical systems, conducting energy audits, and maintaining the functionality of electrical systems in various outdoor recreational facilities.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3&gt;Key Responsibilities&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Collaborative Project Planning:&lt;/strong&gt; Work closely with landscape architects to plan and implement green infrastructure projects, focusing on integrating electrical components and developing preliminary engineering drawings.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Design and Documentation:&lt;/strong&gt; Create final engineering layouts for electrical services in projects, including preparing specifications, estimates, and bills of quantities. Assist in the tendering process to select contractors for project execution.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Project Oversight:&lt;/strong&gt; Oversee the electrical engineering services of projects through to completion, including certifying works progress and preparing interim and final payment certificates.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Energy Audits:&lt;/strong&gt; Conduct comprehensive energy audits to identify improvement areas and propose energy-saving solutions to minimise environmental impact and enhance energy efficiency.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Technical Expertise:&lt;/strong&gt; Provide expert advice on the electrical components of outdoor recreational equipment, guiding the selection, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems in park amenities such as playgrounds and sports facilities.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Sustainability Initiatives:&lt;/strong&gt; Support the organisation&#039;s sustainability goals by proposing and implementing innovative technologies and practices that align with environmental conservation commitments.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Maintenance and Troubleshooting:&lt;/strong&gt; Ensure the optimal performance of electrical systems in green spaces through regular inspections, repairs, and system upgrades.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;h3&gt;Qualifications, Skills and Attributes&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Experience:&lt;/strong&gt; A minimum of 24 months of progressive experience in Electrical Engineering projects, ideally within a similar industry.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Language Skills:&lt;/strong&gt; Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Communication Skills:&lt;/strong&gt; Strong ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical information to a diverse range of stakeholders.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Interpersonal Skills:&lt;/strong&gt; Ability to work collaboratively within a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Technical Skills:&lt;/strong&gt; Proficient in electrical engineering design, with a focus on energy-efficient solutions and renewable energy integration.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Organisation:&lt;/strong&gt; Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Self-Motivated:&lt;/strong&gt; Highly motivated and driven to contribute to the organisation&#039;s goals and mission, with a proactive approach to work.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Problem-Solving:&lt;/strong&gt; Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;
