Role Overview \nThe Senior Events & Public Relations Manager will lead the planning, execution, and promotion of events that enhance public engagement with our Client’s spaces. This role involves developing and implementing PR strategies, managing media relations, and ensuring every event communicates key messages effectively, while fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning and Conceptualisation: Generate innovative event ideas, plan and oversee events throughout the year to maximise public use of the spaces.
\n\t
Budget Management: Allocate and monitor the yearly events budget, ensuring all activities are executed within financial parameters.
\n\t
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal teams, external partners, sponsors, and collaborators to support event objectives.
\n\t
Event Execution and Oversight: Manage all stages of events from planning to post-event evaluation, including logistics, suppliers, sponsorships, and guest support.
\n\t
PR and Media Relations: Develop and implement PR campaigns, liaise with media through press releases, events, and exhibitions, monitor media coverage, and handle enquiries from media, organisations, and the public.
\n\t
Team Leadership: Lead the events team, ensuring adequate staffing, resources, and event execution in line with strategic goals.
\n

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Education: Bachelor’s degree (MQF Level 6) or higher in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Higher diploma (MQF Level 5) with relevant experience may also be considered.
\n\t
Experience: Minimum of two years in a related role, with at least three years considered for candidates with a higher diploma; five years’ experience considered if qualifications are not held.
\n\t
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required. Maltese language skills are an advantage.
\n\t
Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication, able to deliver clear messages and presentations.
\n\t
Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, and able to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
\n\t
Technical Skills: Proficient in PR, event management, and media relations strategies.
\n\t
Organisation: Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and prioritisation skills.
\n\t
Self-Motivated: Proactive, reliable, and responsible, able to work independently and lead a team effectively.

Problem-Solving: Confident decision-maker, able to manage multiple events and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
