Role Overview
\n
As a Senior PMO Manager - Project Management, you will oversee a range of projects and programmes from inception through to completion. You will ensure projects are managed efficiently, adhering to schedules and budgets while fostering a culture of effective project management and governance.

Key Responsibilities
\n
Project Planning and Execution: Actively support and oversee the planning and execution of projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively.
Performance Oversight: Monitor and report on project performance throughout their lifecycle, including progress and health status, to senior management and the Project Governance Committee.
Risk and Issue Management: Manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely reporting and resolution, and implement any necessary actions or directions.
Data and Documentation Management: Maintain up-to-date project data and ensure all project documents are consistently available and accurate.
Resource and Budget Management: Oversee the allocation of resources and tasks and manage project budgets (Capex and Opex).

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n
Experience: A minimum of three years experience in project management with a strong grasp of the full project management lifecycle and methodologies. Applicants with at least five years of relevant experience without formal qualifications will also be considered.
Language Skills: Excellent command of English and Maltese is essential.
Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including senior management, and report on project progress and health.
Interpersonal Skills: Proven leadership qualities and the capability to work collaboratively across multiple projects and teams.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management and governance practices, including project planning, risk management, change control, budget management, performance monitoring, and reporting.
Organisation: Strong organisational skills with a focus on ensuring projects remain within scope, on time, and within budget.
Self-Motivated: Demonstrated initiative and drive to lead projects effectively and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying and addressing project-related challenges and implementing solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.

What's on Offer

Compensation: A competitive base salary with additional allowances and performance bonus.
Working Hours: Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, averaging 8 hours per day plus a 15-minute break. Flexibility is offered through 1 day a week remote/hybrid work after 3 months of employment, subject to management approval.
Other Benefits: Indefinite employment contract subject to a one-year probation period. Performance bonuses are awarded annually based on KPI achievement.
