Shipping and Procurement Officer
About This Job
AMSM is looking to recruit a Shipping and Procurement Officer on a full-time reduced basis (30 hours p/week) within our Commercial Department.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Calculating and placing orders with our suppliers
- Daily interaction with our suppliers to monitor the status of our orders and any issues that may arise
- Preparing and maintaining purchasing reports, records and updated price lists
- Calculating order costs and evaluating proforma invoices for accuracy
- Ensuring that the product inventory is always up to date
- Working closely with the Sales, Warehouse & Accounts Departments
YOUR PROFILE
- Advanced Level of Education
- Able to communicate well in English and Maltese.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – especially Microsoft Excel.
- Candidates with experience in a similar role will be given preference.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills, organisation skills and able to work towards deadlines
