- Diagnose mechanical issues and develop effective solutions to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance procedures
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols at all times
Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate or diploma in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Basic proficiency in English and Maltese for effective communication with colleagues
