As a vital part of our Entertainment team, you'll provide outstanding customer service and oversee bar operations to ensure a memorable guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and serve customers, taking orders for beverages and food items efficiently.
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for order processing and payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area to create a welcoming environment.
- Manage stock levels, place orders, and monitor product freshness to minimize waste.
- Train and mentor junior bar staff to uphold service standards and product knowledge.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and cleaning tasks.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations and handle customer inquiries professionally.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to fulfill orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends to enhance the bar menu and guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience, demonstrating proficiency in beverage service.
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes, beer and wine selections, and beverage service techniques.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
- Leadership abilities to train and supervise junior staff effectively.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Understanding of alcohol service regulations and commitment to responsible service practices.
- Additional training or certification in bartending or hospitality management is advantageous.
