Role Overview
As a Spa Therapist, you will bring your energetic and charismatic personality to provide exceptional service to all guests. Your main duties will include performing facial and body treatments, supporting the Spa reception, and offering professional advice on beauty products and services. Your proactive approach to customer service will ensure a memorable experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Guest interaction: Greet customers with a courteous and warm attitude.
Professional presentation: Maintain a neat and discreet appearance, professional and accessible.
Communication: Handle phone and email communications with guests and colleagues.
Reservations: Take and book reservations accurately in the booking system.
Standards compliance: Ensure all services meet hotel criteria and Spa & Wellness standards.
Operational support: Assist in the opening and closing of the Spa and treatment rooms.
Room preparation: Organise and prepare treatment rooms as per procedures.
Treatments: Perform facial and body treatments according to protocols.
Inventory management: Regularly check and manage cosmetics products inventory.
Product knowledge: Become fully knowledgeable about all beauty products available for sale.
Sales: Promote and sell products and services using the Spa point of sale system.
Relationship building: Build professional relationships with guests and members.
Guest experience: Create a positive and memorable experience for all guests and members.
Health and safety: Stay updated with health and safety protocols and ensure compliance.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
Experience: At least 3 years in a similar position, ideally in a luxury Spa.
Qualifications: Certified in spa and beauty treatments and basic first aid.
Technical skills: Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office suite.
Team spirit: Exhibit strong team spirit and ability to work collaboratively.
Communication: Excellent listening and communication skills.
Personal qualities: Dynamic, flexible, and highly committed.
Language skills: Proficiency in English (written & spoken); knowledge of French, German, or Italian is preferred.
