&lt;p&gt;We are seeking a dedicated and proactive &lt;strong&gt;Store Porter&lt;/strong&gt; to join our &lt;strong&gt;Purchasing and Stores Department&lt;/strong&gt;. This role plays a crucial part in the day-to-day operations of the hotel, supporting the smooth flow of goods and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in storage and delivery areas.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Job Overview&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As a Store Porter, you will support the receiving, handling, and distribution of goods and materials across departments. You will work closely with the Storekeeper and Purchasing Team to ensure timely deliveries and proper handling of stock in line with hotel standards and HACCP requirements.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist in unloading and moving delivered goods to designated storage areas in a safe and efficient manner.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Support the inspection of goods upon arrival and report any discrepancies or damages to the Storekeeper.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Deliver requisitioned items to various departments promptly and accurately, based on established schedules.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Keep the receiving bay, storage rooms, and delivery areas clean, tidy, and well-organised at all times.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards, including HACCP procedures and internal protocols.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Support with stock rotation, shelf arrangement, and labeling to ensure efficient inventory management.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Provide general assistance in the storeroom and other logistics-related tasks as required.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Carry out duties in accordance with hotel policies, procedures, and established timelines.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Ideal Candidate&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The ideal candidate should be physically fit, well-organised, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or hospitality support role will be considered an asset. Basic knowledge of catering materials and workplace safety will be beneficial. Fluency in &lt;strong&gt;both Maltese and English&lt;/strong&gt; is required.&lt;/p&gt;
