Falzon and Cutajar Architects & Civil Engineers are seeking a skilled and dedicated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves the design and analysis of structures primarily in masonry and concrete, along with detailed drawing and site supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze building structures, ensuring all constructions are safe, sustainable, and cost-effective.
- Prepare, review, and approve structural drawings and specifications.
- Oversee the site supervision of projects to ensure compliance with plans and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project execution.
- Monitor construction processes to guarantee that they conform to structural specifications.
- Manage and mentor junior staff within the structural engineering team (if applicable).
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Proven experience in structural design and analysis, with expertise in masonry and concrete structures.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, and other engineering design tools.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience:
- Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role, with a focus on structural engineering.
