Supermarket Floor Manager

Full-Time Supermarket Floor Manager

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and highly motivated individual for the posts of a

Supermarket Floor Manager to work on full-time basis.

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards within the

supermarket and also assist in setting in place standards that will enhance the supermarket’s

service levels and its clients’ overall shopping experience.

The floor supervisor will be expected to be available to work on a shift system during shop

hours from Monday-Sunday, the earliest shift starting at 6.30am and the latest shift finishing at

9.00pm.

The ideal candidate should:

Have a good standard of education

Experience in a similar position

Have strong supervisory skills and be able to oversee cashiers, shelf stackers and other

supermarket employees.

Possess excellent communications skills and be able to lead and encourage others

Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications

Able to take quick decisions for the smooth daily running of the supermarket

Be able to work on his/her own initiative

Duties include and are not limited to:

Monitoring shelve stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store.

Addressing customers' requests, comments, and complaints.

Manages and motivates employees to achieve targets

Ensuring that opening and closing of stores runs smoothly

Preparing staff schedules.

Works together with Human Resources for training of staff and to make sure that all

staff abide to the company’s regulations.
