This role is ideal for someone who has grown from software engineering into leadership and now wants to spend most of their time enabling others to succeed, rather than writing code themselves.
What you’ll do
Lead & develop people: Act as a mentor and coach to a team of engineers, creating an environment where individuals can learn, grow, and perform at their best.
Drive team performance: Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Foster collaboration: Build strong partnerships within your team and across other squads (Product, QA, Software Engineers, DevOps), ensuring smooth delivery of cross-functional projects.
Support career growth: Help engineers progress in their careers through skill development plans, stretch assignments, and promotion readiness.

Technical oversight: While this is not a coding-heavy role, you’ll ensure best practices in software development, architecture, and agile delivery are being followed.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
Strong people management skills with a track record of building engaged, high-performing teams.
Ability to balance empathy with accountability, driving performance while supporting individual needs.
Solid understanding of modern software development practices and agile methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, able to influence and inspire both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Previous experience in mobility, logistics, SaaS, or other fast-moving tech industries is a plus.
