Technician

Position Overview

This is a technical role responsible for carrying out equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance activities under appropriate supervision and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults; perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment; make necessary adjustments.
• Assemble and disassemble small, delicate small components while ensuring unit integrity. Assemble and disassemble small, delicate mechanical and electronic components with precision while maintaining equipment integrity
• Replace defective parts and carry out repairs in accordance with manufacturer procedures.
• Conduct final quality inspections to verify repairs meet the manufacturer’s original specifications before release to final QC.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Good ICT skills; comfortable with MS Office and common applications.
• Good written and verbal English; Maltese fluency is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow technical instructions.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-related documents.
• Hands-on repair experience in electrical/electronics, medical devices, or mechanical fields is advantageous.
• High attention to detail and a consistent commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
